Quad cortex not working

my amp blew up after plugging in a pedal so I moved to another amp. Return input to L3 guitar cable into input 1 no pedals and using guitar cab. The quad is no longer working. It’s out of warranty I think I got it maybe 2 yrs ago. Everything is breaking . Things are too expensive and now this. I’ll try different cables but I literally was just using them with my amp. I was going to buy the mini and sell this maybe. I don’t use that much so it’s mint. It stays in our apt. Is this visible?

Can anyone see my topic that my quad no longer works after my amp blew up? Thank you.

I saw this in another thread and cannot make sense of what’s going on:

Can you give a bulleted break-down description of how you had everything hooked up? Which amplifier model, by the way? It sounds like you might have sent the power output from your amp into the QC, frying both…

Sorry I was in a mess last night. I fixed the quad but the amp is done. I didn’t do anything wrong like I thought. I was trying to plug an fx pedal in the front of the qc not in the send/return and the amp blew up. For now I’ll save up for a Seymour Duncan power block or the Wampler pedal head. I don’t like the sound of my other amps with the qc. It’s coloring the sound too much. I also don’t want to use my amps for this. Thx for trying to help. I hope this made more sense c sorry about that. Thank you. PS that was a different issue I had another issue last night.
