Hey there! On my Mac, I set up an aggregate device for using my QC and my audient iD24. I was able to route everything so in Cubase, I can use my QC to record guitar while using my Audient as the output to my monitors. Everything seems to work except that the quad cortex seems to send a DI and not the setting on my QC. I’ve tried every output choice in the QC and still no luck. I am positive it’s a user error but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
The “wet channels” from the QC would come from USB 3 and up, by default. Depending on which device comes first in the aggregate, that channel number may be off by the amount a channels on the other interface.
Which Input Channels are available in your DAW Track? (Channels 1 and 2 would be DI signals by default if your QC is the first device in the aggregation)
For experimenting till you find the right match always use MULTI-OUT output setting on the QC
Thanks so much! That worked. I knew it was a “user error”.
I found QC as an aggregate device on macOS seems to disconnect the device when waking macOS from sleep if the QC is not powered on. I have to edit the aggregate device and re-select the QC. I don’t seem to have this problem with FM9.
I’ve never had that issue, but I use an older iMac
