Hello, I was thinking about getting the Plini X plugin to use on my quad cortex, but would first like to trial it as I’ve never bought any DSP plugin before. I downloaded the plugin, activated the 14 day trial, created the ilok account, linked them up and got it all set up however I can’t find any option of actually downloading it onto my QC. Does anyone know how to get it working?
EDIT:
Actually there does seem to be a way to get it working. Install the plugin, connect the QC to the PC and then use it as an audio interface for the guitar. Works with the trial version too.
„Archetype: Plini X will be compatible with Quad Cortex when Plugin Compatibility launches on Quad Cortex in a future update.“
„Can I use a trial of a plugin on Quad Cortex?
No. This would require Quad Cortex to be always online for the trials to run, which we did not want to implement.“

CorOS doesn’t have the capability to load any plugins yet. The Plini update was just to get it ready for when that happens.
You should definitely spend some time with the plugins on your computer though. Not only is it a great option for recording but you’ll have a head start on getting your NeuralDSP plugin library ready filled out before they finally unleash plugins on the QC. You can get familiar with all the gear in the plugins and be able to start building your presets much quicker.
