Having the same issue, using a Shure sm7db. Tried multiple cables, inputs, settings (phantom power, mic input…etc….) can’t get anything. Am thinking of taking the mic back to the store and have them test it.
Edit - Nope it was a faulty mic in my case, exchanged the Sm7db and the new one works great with the neural cortex.
