Since the standalone plugin midi settings do not work for the VST (see Expression Pedal with the Neural Plugin VST in Ableton ) I decided to create a work around configuring all my midi settings to the standalone and then rerouting it to Ableton using loopback Rogue Amoeba | Loopback: Cable-Free Audio Routing . I was just wondering if this is a good solution. Are there any downsides to not using the VST?
