I have connected my samsung a52s (Android version 12) to my qc with an usb c to b cable.
This works for a little while but then the audio starts sounding like a bitcrusher…
Is that also a compatibility issue? and how could i fix that?
Unfortunately Android OS isn’t supported due to latency and other Android related issues so it would be best effort to be compatible. Make sure your cabling is good, if you have a way to modify your sample size with the Android side of things, that might be helpful but it’s likely resulting in the bitcrush type noise due to latency and not enough resources etc.
I know this is an older thread, but posting this in case someone else ends up here like I did.
Some Android phones are class compliant, meaning audio can connect through USB.
The Samsung Galaxy line generally is.
If your audio is degrading (low bitrate/“but crusher” sound), try this:
Go to Settings > Apps > Tap the 3 lines with the downward facing arrow to the right of ‘Your apps’ > Show system apps (toggle this on) > OK > USBSettings > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your device.
