Eventide H3000 MicroPitch Detune

A common trick 80’s guys like me do with our racks is to use MicroPitch Detune in stead of chorus on gain tones. It’s the old EVH trick to wide the tone. Sometimes we also combine it with a Chorus on clean LA style tones. In my current rack I have an old Yamaha SPX-90 doing the trick. You detune one side -9 cent with 15ms delay and the other side +11 cent with 25ms delay. The algorithm in the old SPX-90 is called Pitch Change C and on the H3000 it’s called Mircopitch.
