Apparently, the device uses fairly short IRs of about 20 ms in length. When using external IR-loaders, you can hear how the tone changes for the better when the impulse length is at least 200 ms. I think everyone is very satisfied if the company allows you to upload your own mpulses of 200 ms or higher, even taking into account the restrictions on the total number of available IRs.
