I read the new interface changes and saw New category updates. Can I make my own category there? I play the electric violin too, so I would like to add this category too en develop my own presets for the electric violin
I’m assuming you would use ‘Other’ and specify ‘Violin’ but it’s too early to speculate quite yet.
As far as I can see, “Other” is all things not Guitar, Bass, Synth, or Vocal. There is no prompt to add your own preferred instrument category. PLEASE add this!
I desperately want to label mine all “Chapman Stick”.
I wholeheartedly agree on this. I have electric violins and Electric Sitar too and other stringed instruments. I think it is an absolute must. It’s also a must for sharing presets and captures for that specific instrument, as in your cas a Chapman Stick.
So that means the category you add must also appear in the uploaded presets and capture for that specific instrument. It would be a dealbreaker
