How do you deal with the "delayed" foot switch pedal?

I am used to pedals which activate as soon as you press them, but on the NC, they activate once you release. The reason is… to allow the tuner to be turned on if you press long enough.

I personally find it really hard to adapt to, given how virtually any pedal out there works the opposite way, and also posing very little advantages, considering how bad the tuner is (no screen…)

This would of course be fine if there was a possibility to change the setting to activate it on press, instead of release, or AT LEAST disable the tuner option, but nope.

Were you people able to adapt to this relatively quickly for live gig situations or are you still struggling like me? Do you have tips?

Thanks, have a good one

I agree, it’s strange for the change to be dependent on the release of the button. I’m not a fan and would really like an option to press to change presets. Had the Nano since it came out and still not used to this.

This can also impact the accuracy of the looper start/stop. Hopefully these footswitch limitations will be addressed in future releases where a switch could be configured for tap, tap and hold and double tap. Tap would trigger on press, the others on release.
