Global Sum to Mono options

Please add global options to independently sum XLR Output (1/2) or Jack Output (3/4) to mono. This could be an on/off switch to the right of the mute switch in the pull down I/O Settings for Output 1/2 and Output 3/4.

This allows for the following scenario’s:

Scenario	1/2 XLR Output	3/4 Jack Output
Default	Stereo	Stereo
All Mono	Sum to Mono	Sum to Mono
XLR Mono / Jack Stereo	Sum to Mono	Stereo
XLR Stereo / Jack Mono	Stereo	Sum to Mono

This alleviates the need to have multiple identical set lists with some having a mono block at the end of the signal flow. It eliminates the admin burden of updating multiple versions of the same presets to cater for different front of house, monitoring and recording scenarios. Also removes the risk of having to carry more cables to cater for manually summing to mono.

Automatically sum to mono

Thank-you for adding the Multi-out feature in firmware 1.0.3. The only problem is that since I use a mono power amp for on-stage monitoring, this feature is really not usable in my setup without a stereo sum box. Ideally this setup should work with minimal extra equipment and cabling. It would be great if there were at least one multi-out mono option, so I’ll propose the following additional output options: Multi-out 1/2, 3, 4 (I.e. 1/2 stereo, 3 & 4 summed to mono). This requires every preset to be set up in a specific way. This request is for it to be a “GLOBAL” setting so that the summing to mono happens for all presets regardless of how they were set up. The concept being if you get to a gig and find that you have a mono front of house you can change one GLOBAL setting and you’re set. It’s a different requirement.
