Fix these Manual Omissions?

There are several functionalities that are overlooked in the manual and it’d be helpful if they were added so explanations were available to all users. (please add to the list if you know of others)

not in manual:

  • detailed use of Scene Bypass behavior in Device Settings menu

  • capture block EQ frequencies= 120, 750 and 1000-Hz

  • FX Loop Send Default- is Line level/unity gain. For un-amplified devices (preamps/pedals, etc) you need Instrument Level, so lower the Send Level accordingly: start around -5dB

  • Doubler: It uses the selected ‘trigger’ source to detect transient information, which is then used to randomise the delay time and some eq/filters. Ideally you want that to be as clean as possible to give the best results

  • to remove SPLITTER: drag Splitter Icon to input block, Mixer Icon to output block. Split will be gone when you click back into the grid

  • 3/4 TRS = 6db boost vs XLRs the XLR outputs 1-2 are half the level of the TRS outputs 3-4

“capture block EQ frequencies= 120, 750 and 1000-Hz”
Always wondered what the capture EQ freqs are.
Are these numbers verified from neural? or has someone done a test to retrieve them? Or did you just fabricate them for an example?

they are confirmed by NDSP official

All good bits of information that should be in the manual.

Xush, could you clarify your notes about the doubler? Are you saying a clean guitar signal works better with the doubler? What do you mean by "that source "?

that was official info from NDSP, I’ll edit it to be clearer.
It means ‘the source you select in the drop-down Trigger menu setting to feed it signal.’
Like the side-chain function- the source you choose as the trigger/input

No kidding? I hadn’t noticed the “key” feature in the doubler block. Makes sense for it to key (“trigger”) from the clean guitar signal but process after the cab. I’ll have to experiment. Thanks for pointing that feature out.
