Delay Request: Roland RE-201 Space Echo
A multi-head tape delay would be awesome, so surprising the QC doesn’t have one.
The QC has a tape echo delay, but it’s not multi-head and that makes a huge difference.
I keep a Boss RE-2 Space Echo on my pedalboard for this reason. There’s a funny little modulation that happens when tape heads 1 & 2 are turned on together, which I love.
Mateus Asato plug-in has a multi-head tape echo which sounds great. If it ever gets updated to an X version and released to QC, we’ll at least have that.
Nice, yeah the Space Echo is really magical. I didn’t know that plug-in had one, that kind of makes it even crazier the QC doesn’t have one. I know people love to pay for the plugins, but it is such a staple let’s hope one can be added eventually.
