Clipping with thumping sound, but levels look normal (or even low)

I just came across an older thread.

It seems to support my concerns over DC7/Crux. I currently have a Canvas HP power supply on it’s way to me. I will do some more experimenting with DC7/Crux tomorrow night. And then CANVAS HP.

Power supply issues?

Wow. This is highly concerning news. I have been using the DC7 with the three cable doublers (using 4 outputs on DC7) for about 3 years with two different QC units and I haven’t had any issues. Do you think it’s just an issue with the crux unit itself? Anyone had issues using the DC7 without the crux? I’m Going back to stock PS just in case.
