Can Quad Cortex capture Ehx 9 series pedals?

Hi everybody. I was wondering if Quad Cortex can capture pedals like Electro Harmonix Key9,B9,C9 or Synth9. Has anybody tried to capture those pedals or have any information about that?

Hi @Whitelion and welcome to the community! Currently, you can only capture drives, amps or amp/cab etc., and nothing time based FX. That being said, I am not familiar with the EH pedals but there is no harm in trying to capture one of those pedals and only takes a few minutes to do so etc.

I took a shot at my Mel9 but it didn’t work. This series is beyond the QC’s abilities to capture (presently)

I figured that would be the case as even fuzz pedals are unable to be captured due to their uniqueness. I have played around with capturing EQ and even some fuzz pedals somewhat successfully but nothing I am aware of currently (e.g. Kemper, TONEX and or QC etc.) can capture anything with time-based properties

@xush thank you for answering and trying to capture your pedal , it would be wonderful if one day that will be possible.

@MP_Mod Thank you very much for the information, i didnt know those Eh pedals were time based effects.As you said even if fuzz pedals have problem to be captured then these 9 series Eh pedals will not be able to get captured unfortunately
