Is there a way to bypass the cabinet simulation from a full capture?
I would like to send an output to the power amp and guitar cabinet as I do with the Kemper (I have a dedicated monitor output and “cab off” function).
IKmultimedia also managed to remove cab’s sim via algorithm.
It would be nice to have this feature implemented,
unfortunately there is a request here but it has very few votes.
No, not currently.
Even if an algorithme claim to ‘remove a cab’ from the capture, there’s no way to sound like the raw ‘direct output’ from the amp.
A cab acts as a filter that emove or attenuate some frequencies from the raw amp signal (it is an oversimplification, but you get the idea….) I don’t think an algo can recreate the raw signal accurately.
It is as if you added several numbers , producing a sum , and you only give the sum to another person asking this person to give you back the original numbers … impossible to give one solution.
