It means a lot you found home to your true you @SkeletronPrime . All the best wishes onwards. Good luck with the FM9 Turbo. It sounds like an awesome machine.

Wasn’t there supposed to be a software fix last week?

they did say so but not deliver… disappointed but not surprised, hopefully we´ll get it this week

Kinda normal situation in life with NDSP. They shall run political party, they are great at promises, less at deliveries

Very good to hear. It should be open to modifying if the device was legally purchased! Afterall, CorOS is based on Linux, and the foundation of Linux is open modification. It’s also ironically the most secure piece of software known to software engineering since it’s being updated several times per second.

it released today but it´s just the fix… i´m looking forward for the update with the matchless amps now

yeah this is why i was so pissed when all they released was the security patch when i was expecting it to be cooked into the update they were teasing

the funny part to me is that it wont matter for long regardless if it was never patched since almost no routers support 2.4 ghz anymore anyway. better hurry up with that software editor guys! and you better make sure you can update firmware using it via USB hahah

since almost no routers support 2.4 ghz anymore anyway.

What are you even talking about? This is absolutely false.

This whole debacle doesn’t really give help my faith in NDSP.

So, the hot fix was not that hot. I did not apply it, and gut feeling was right.

Personally, I hope the editor will replace the need to any online connectivity for Quad Cortex.
Editor, as software running on computer shall get the updates, prepare backups, and deal with preset/captures/whatever exchange.

Updates/maintenance of QC shall be done only by USB through the computer running the Editor.

Simplifies the QC hardware, increases security, gives me peace, when I am “on the road”.
Just my two cents.

time is gonna tell on this one, its already getting harder and harder to find stuff that works with older equipment because of the fact that less and less equipment supports or supports well the old wifi standards.

this is probably the #1 culprit behind all the posts ive seen on here when people complain about how their wifi doesnt work well or at all with the QC.

The 2.4 GHz band is part of every single WiFi standard going back to the original 802.11 and will continue to be for the foreseeable future, including the upcoming 802.11be (WiFi 7).

I have never heard of or personally encountered ANY router or access point that only supports the 5 or 6 GHz bands. Like I said, “almost no routers support 2.4 ghz anymore” is completely false.
