Hi Gang, is anyone using a line isolator (or another device) to FOH when you’re using outputs 1/2, just to have a safe measure between your QC and the sound board? If so, what are you using? I’ve seen NDSP mention that a DI or ISO isn’t needed to output from the QC straight to FOH. But for peace of mind, it would be nice to set a protective boundary between the QC and sound board.
I would, from the odd event that a console has phantom power left turned on on a channel or for circumventing any noise. Especially if the device has a 1:1 transformer. I really like the products that Lehle has to offer:
