“Analog Delay” block does not tempo sync

I like the sound of the Analog Delay, but I cannot get it to sync to the tempo at all. What gives? Is this some over-engineered attempt to make it sound more realistic? It is off by probably 15-20% when I set it to 1/4 note repeats.
