Especially with delays and modulation blocks. A Moogerfooger ring modulator block? Yes please.

Allowing third party effects would increase the diversity and quality of onboard fx blocks

I agree. I would add Eventide and Lexicon Plugins to the list! This is probably impossible but a guy can dream right?

I would die for a Moogerfooger Ring Modulator. I have both a Moogerfooger and Minifooger version.

I can imagine plugin companies making fx blocks you can purchase. Or even pedal companies with the capability to model their own hardware.
