I would like to request the addition of an Output Level parameter to the Delay and Reverb blocks.
Many guitarists use delay as part of their solo. Having output level control would allow us to activate the effect and apply a small volume boost with a single footswitch, eliminating the need for an additional EQ or Gain block.
This feature would make presets simpler, save DSP resources, and provide greater flexibility live performances.
that sounds odd to me. usually you will use a clean boost, or an overdrive, or eq to boost a solo. and you can already do all that using scenes.
For example, if your scene A is rhythm, your scene B could be exactly the same, plus your delay and some volume boost or mid boost in the amp block or in the overdrive.
In my mind, that’s definitely not a delay volume job.
I understand your point, and I agree that Scenes are a great solution for predefined changes.
However, this request is about improving the flexibility of Stomp Mode, not replacing Scenes.
There are many situations where I simply want to engage a delay for a solo and have a small volume boost happen automatically, without adding an extra EQ, boost block, or switching to another scene. Having an output level parameter in the delay or reverb would make this possible with a single footswitch, simplifying both the signal chain and live operation.
This is not a new concept. Similar functionality is already available on products from Line 6, Fractal Audio, and Boss, and many players rely on it as part of their workflow.
Scenes would still be the best option for complex changes. This would simply provide another efficient workflow for users who want individual stomp effects to include a level change when engaged.
