This would be nice to have as an effect on the QC. Tape saturation works well to make clean sounds a bit more “vintage”-sounding, and to be honest, tape wow is basically my favourite modulation effect on clean sounds. It adds that small sparkle of color, but without being too obvious like chorus. I believe Neural also already has tape saturation in the Plini delay, so they might not need to start from scratch.
According to Colin Cartmell in an interview published on SoundOnSound, using a tape saturation right after the IR block gives a more realistic sound. It would be fantastic to have a saturation block to achieve this.

Yeah Helix has a really nice Tape Reel simulation that I really like, I would love to have it in QC!
I captured a bunch of settings from the Mantra plugin saturation modules. Maybe at least that module will make it to the QC eventually, that’d be cool. Too bad the whole Mantra layout won’t get ported over, it’s got some nice tools in it.
