I hope the Nano Cortex app will include a LIVE mode where you can see a large font display of the preset number and name when the phone is turned to landscape mode. It would also be great to view the signal path and blocks, similar to the Quad Cortex, so it’s easy to see which effects are active.
Additionally, I’m hoping for the ability to control effect parameters using Alt Mode, just like in ToneX. This kind of improvement in the app editor would be a game changer for me, especially for live use.

Do you mean on the hardware when you say like ToneX?
Exit button does not do anything when everything exited so we could use that for the alt mode.
Obviously, it would be best if the landscape mode of our phone turned into FX Params updating live when you turn hardware buttone.
So press exit →Phone Shows FX buttons
Also, the amount lights of the hard ware would be in sync.
While they are at it, they could add scenes to phone’s touch screen.
Similar to Logic Remote of Logic Pro X.
