This is my newer one.
Did that eliminate the headphone noise?
im using 300 Ohm headphones and im getting lot of ground hiss, sound very bad
Not sure if this is the same or similar of any issues that have been mentioned here, but I do notice when playing bass into the QC and using only headphones, thereās a little crackle that seems to be always present. At first I thought it was the gain on the amp, but seems to always be present. Itās not deal-breaking, but definitely noticeable if Iām listening for it. I havenāt tried other headphones or plugging in another output yetā¦
could be itās just too much for those particular drivers in the HPs.
What model are they?
I too am experiencing the same thing. When picking notes it distorts if you attack the notes, even at a reasonable volume level. I have checked the input and HP levels and they are not clipping.
For reference, I am using IEMās.
So I tested it again with my HD800S headphones which are 300 ohm, verses my IEMās which are 10 ohm, and the distortion is noticeable decreased. There is only a small amount when attacking cords say. This tells me that the headphone stage on the QC isnāt that great.
Hi Everyone,
I found this thread because I had a huge hiss noise with my QC when I plugged headphones. (Headphones are DT 770 Pro X, being 45 Ohms).
I tried with regular DT 770 (those ones are 250 Ohms), and I confirm that the hiss noise is way way more discret. Still a bit there but very acceptable.
In any case, I admit this is just very āsuprisingā that the QC heaphones output is not great quality, on such an expensive device.
