I made a custom GPT ChatGPT - Create reusable presets
You can use it to answer questions about the QC and it’ll reference the v3.2 manual. I’ve found it to be pretty good at answering questions that are specific to what I’m trying to do. For example, I wanted to know which outputs have line level or are unbalanced. Also good for getting the exact values for inputs/outputs and mapping that to audio interfaces, cabs, etc.
It also is pretty good at giving you a good starting point for a preset. It tries to figure out what was used for a song’s recording and then tells the the name of the blocks to use on QC using the device list (as of 9/5/2025).
I’m in a cover band so we’re always trying to get the sound of a huge number of songs and this is especially good at helping me make less presets and combine them with other songs by only toggling a block or changing some settings in a scene. The presets aren’t always dead on but they give you a good starting point and for me it has been educational on where to start vs just a amp and cab and not knowing where to go past that.
