Loving the update! Especially the new presets for I/O.
And pumped about the commitment to do more midi improvements in the future. Including, hopefully, the ability to select the new I/O preset with midi so live guitar-changes become seamless.

Yes, very disappointed about this. Not that I don’t like the new additions, but for me the foot switch assignment is the most important missing feature.

Finally had a few hours of uninterrupted time to check out the update. The Misha Mansoor X plug-in in the QC is an absolute ace. The unique and weird devices in it ported over really well.
I’m still figuring out Glitch. I have tried pedals like the Hologram Microcosm and Chase Bliss Mood and couldn’t get along with them, so I passed them on. But I do like the sounds, so having Glitch permanently available in the QC is a huge win. Now I can really take my time exploring it. Try putting the Freeze block directly in front of Glitch…
The new Ring Modulator device is very good, but–it is lacking an LFO control that would give it the same function as my Moogerfooger MF-102 ring mod. Please vote on the LFO feature request if you haven’t already.
For you Ring Mod fans, don’t forget that the Laser device in Mansoor X also has some ring mod sounds in it.
The Douglas Shining Comp is soooooo good. It might be my favorite compressor in the QC now.
I have Petrucci X and Rabea X; really need to spend some time digging into those amp sounds.
And device presets… Chef’s kiss.

My boot time is exactly the same, but… I noticed that after the last update, after starting the QC, the top switch lights white for a long time. This seems to be related to the QC connecting to the network. Sometimes the white LED turns off after a few seconds, sometimes after almost a minute. Have you noticed a similar phenomenon yourself?
Multivoicer is greate, but Minivoicer has some sound issues.
The “up” switch LED does stay lit after the grid is loaded on screen and ready to play–about 4-5 seconds in my case. I didn’t notice it was doing that until you mentioned it.
If it truly is a network connection indicator, I wonder what happens when the QC is in an environment without any network access?

In my case, the “up” switch lights up for varying lengths of time after startup—the shortest was a few seconds, the longest was around 40 seconds. However, its illumination doesn’t interfere with the unit’s operation; after a startup time of about 65 seconds, the QC is ready to play. And now for the best part—when I turned off my home WiFi network, which the QC is connected to, the white light wouldn’t turn off at all. That’s why I suspect it has something to do with the network connection. I’m very curious what Neural “checks” in our units.
They’re checking to make sure you’re actually playing your guitar and not just doomscrolling on your phone.

It seems like there’s more gap between preset changes now. Love the update though!
yeah, im noticing this too, the “up” LED stays on until I change preset and the change itself is a little slower

Just got the second or third reminder email for the new software. I’m not downloading any new updates. My QC is more than capable for all my gigs to come and loaded with devices and stuff for the next twenty years to discover.

An awesome upgrade - thank you Neural! I didn’t realize all those X plugins would drop this quickly. Now I can’t wait for your next sale. I gotta get the John Mayer plugin!
The block preset and global EQ preset feature is awesome and saves me a ton of time.
