H guys. I’ve just download the NAM player and I’m running it through GarageBand and the my QC. My question is how would you set up a patch using a nam capture?
The QC does not run NAM captures.
You can still use NAM inside of a DAW environment (like GarageBand or Logic) but not in the QC by itself.
Sorry I didn’t explain this properly. I’m running NAM captures through GarageBand and using my QC as the interface. I was wondering how you can run reverbs etc on the QC in conjunction with the NAM captures in GarageBand.
You can set this up directly from NAM Player.
In NAM Player, set the output to USB 5/6. Then, on the QC, change the input block in your signal chain from Input 1 to USB 5/6.
That way, the NAM sound coming from your computer can be brought into the QC chain, and you can place QC effects after it just like you would with any other input source.
