After some time using the QC I think there will eventually be a time where you need to clean up your folders of your unused captures. It could be useful to know which capture is currently assigned to a preset so you don’t delete it by mistake and break your preset. This, of course, only applies to downloaded captures that can be deleted. It could be a simple icon or other visual indicator next to the captures in the “Directory” section of the Cortex Control App and on the QC itself.
Great idea! I recently hit my max 2048 captures after buying a few more 3rd party capture packs. I was forced to delete a bunch and I had to guess which ones were not used. Well, I guessed incorrectly and broke a bunch of my presets ![]()
On a related note, is there any way to fix a preset if you accidentally delete the included capture(s)? Would I need to delete the preset entirely then redownload again from Corex Cloud? Is there a simpler method?
…or even a warning when deleting a used capture
