# VOTE number? I"m at my limit

How many votes are we allotted? I recently un-voted on a bunch of older feature requests, but it didn’t free up any votes. Is there something I need to do to get those votes back? Right now, I have 13 being used and it still says Limit.

Everyone has the same amount of votes to use which is a fixed amount unfortunately. If you run out, you have to remove votes from a lower priority request.

This isn’t working; I removed all but maybe 8 votes and I still get the “LIMIT” button at the top of feature requests. It tells me I’m at my limit, then I can review my votes, remove one or two, go back, and still at my limit.
What’s the point of limiting votes? Seems like a way to artifically under-inflate user interest in features. Also, once a feature is implemented, shouldn’t it give thevotes back to the users?
Anyway, just need some guidance on how I can vote on features again. Thanks!

I understand how it supposed to work. The problem is that removed votes aren’t being added back to our allocated number.

Returning your votes is the way its worked in the past as well as removing and using elsewhere etc.
Unfortunately, I don’t control the voting system, you can always email support and requests more votes (and or unlimited). I think the initial idea was to prioritize your fixed number of votes but I have escalated directly to support for someone to look at the current issue of not returning your votes etc. Thanks for the heads up!

I’m currently at my vote limit and have 13 votes in use. Despite un-voting on older requests, I haven’t regained any votes. Is there an additional step needed to free them up?
