Since the release of CorOS 3.0 and the addition of plugin compatibility, I’ve noticed that the Quad Cortex boot time has increased significantly—from around 40 seconds up to nearly 80 seconds.
While plugin compatibility is a major feature for many users, I personally do not use plugins on my Quad Cortex and would prioritize a faster boot time.
Would it be possible to introduce a settings toggle to enable/disable plugin compatibility loading at startup? For users who don’t utilize plugins, this could bypass the extra initialization steps and significantly improve startup speed.
