So i have two lines of amp and cab to make stereo sound, and also one digital delay on one split set to 100% + 7ms delay to make the stereo even wider. I know i can use doubler, but i still get the same issue. It sounds fantastic, but there is just this weird thing where for example if i do a vibrato the sound really goes deep into one ear, and not both. Most likely because of the one delay block i use for stereo sound. But how do i solve this while also maintaining the wide stereo tone i’m getting? Having 2 splits of amp and cab is not enough for me to consider it stereo. That alone just feels like the tone is still in the center, just louder. With the delay cab the tone becomes more wide
Have you tried using the doubler on 100% wet for the second cab instead of the delay? You’re probably experiencing phasing. Using a delay that short as a doubler isn’t super perfect
I have tried with doubler, i think i’m experiencing some bizarre bug with it where some notes will not even register wide wise. Specifically a drop D chord on 10 fret
Are you panning the split at all? If not your core tone is more of a dual mono rig, seems to me. The wet fx post-split will be adding some stereo width perhaps, but the amps and cabs could be phasing a bit if they’re not panned.
Can you share your preset on the cloud for us to check out?
Also, if that’s your stereo delay on the parallel Lane, it’s being summed to mono by the capture
