Storbe tuner, multi function footswitch, harmonic minor mode on minivoicer

A few suggestions that can be added, that can improve qc as a whole.

1. strobe tuner mode. For me personally its way easier to read and technically its more accurate.

The fact that we also have a huge screen for it is a big plus. Also, ill suggest to have the option to configurate how to quick access the tuner rather then pressing the two foot switches simultaneously. ( double tap, or long press are way safer), with the mini since the footswiches aren’t angled, it happens the the tuner is accidentally get turned. Also, To exit the tuner via “press any footswitch” can be a got option Also rather then just B Being available.

2. LONG PRSSS AND DOUBLE PRESS INTEGRATION.

Best for the mini scene mode I think- is to have the ability to reach all 8 scene with another tap.

Let’s say im in scene a. Pressing a footswich won’t do anything right now. It’ll be better to make it switch to scene A2 if I pressed it again. Way faster, way simpler.

Long presses can be registered as changing device parameters and doing more stuff.

3. harmonic minor & more modes in minivoicer device.

I think harmonic minor is a must honestly and I was surprised that its not available. I’ve seen its available in some plug-in maybe. But thats a foundation in the metal sound that should be available to anyone

Well, partly the reason why strobe tuners are so accurate is because of how they work. The strobing is analog, even on units like the Peterson Strobostomp HD, it’s just represented on a digital display.

It the unit strobes at the frequency of the note it’s set to (A440 for example) and the note played into it strobes at its frequency (440.25 for example) that .25 cent difference is the strobe that is seen on screen. It’s so accurate because it’s instant, analog and physics based.

Now adding a strobe mode on a unit like the QC would look nice but it won’t be any more accurate than the built in stream tuner, as it will need to go through the A/D conversion and analyzing the note played against the reference pitch. Sorry for the nerdy reply, I just really like my Peterson tuner lol.

There are already multiple requests for more footswitch functions, including long press (hold) and double-tap. Here is the single highest requested feature in the forum:

It’s great to assign an expression pedal to multiple parameters for live effects manipulation, but it’d be super handy to do the same with the foot switches. Add the foot switches as an additional expression tool! For instance, in stomp mode, a footswitch pressed could toggle bypass state, but hold the same footswitch to manipulate/ramp user-defined parameters while the switch is held. I’d love to see it across all modes. It’d be useful in many situations where a user might want multiple express…

And the Multivoicer just got released today with CorOS 4.1.0. It has a harmonic minor function.
