Just saw this thread and thought that it would be fun to show off all of my cheap stuff to balance out all the amazing expensive guitars and custom-made beauties that have seen so far.
This is my baby. An 80s Takamine GX-200. With my research I have found they were only made for 3 years and there are reportedly less than 200 of each color made. I am proud to be in possession of such a piece of history. I traded a cheap no name steel string acoustic for it in the late 90s and I have done some maintenance on it. I have replaced all of the electronics including pots and pups ( I kept them for nostalgic reasons) I have replaced the tuners and the knobs. I tried to keep it all looking original. I even had to fabricate a new electronics cover for the back. It’s my favorite player. Buttery smooth actionHere’s my newest addition. It’s a Schecter C7 FR-S 7 string Apocalypse in Red Reign with a Sustainiac pickup at the neck and the Apocalypse at the bridge. The body is swamp ash which is visible from the back. It is a nice contrast to the beautiful red front. I would show it to you but as a newbie here I’m limited in my posting abilities.
Lefty Kiesel Kyber headless
Black limba body, maple neck, lithium pickups and swapped the fretboard to a richlite TT one
Enjoying this one tremendously
@xush Just to answer your question from the pedalboard thread:
That’s a Oopegg Trailbreaker MK I; strictly speaking it’s that exact one from the 2022 Boutique Guitar Showcase with Magneto Design Labs pickups:
Meanwhile i changed the knobs for white stompbox-style ones with polished aluminium inlays as i liked these better:
Sorry, got no time to do full pictures at the moment, but here are some detail shots i took in the past:
Just some more guitars…

Gretsch Thunderbird Jupiter 2021 factory special run.
With my QC rig / board. Signal path:
- Sir Henry vibe
- Chase Bliss Automatone Preamp MKII
- Cali 76 fet compressor
- QC
- Lehle 90 volume in loop 1 of QC.
I am using the Graviton midi device with their XY and EC controllers (see top of strap) and 2 Hotones used for expression.
Lehle doesn’t make a bad product, I swear. I love that they sell the parts along with the pedals, because they are specific to Lehle in that respect (at least aesthetically). I think the real heart of your tone is that the calaveras chilling on the couch — I thought for a second that’s what you meant by “Sir Henry” ![]()
