# Separation of the preamplification section from the power section

I propose for all existing and future amp models (excluding captures), the separation of the preamplification section from the power section. You could imagine power models with some interchangeable components, such as transformers, valves (6V6, 6L6GC, EL34, EL84, KT88), circuits in different Classes (A, AB, D) and dedicated controls for presence. This modification, even if made without introducing new models of amplifiers, would offer the opportunity to combine different preamplifiers with different stages of power, favoring an almost infinite number of sound palettes. This modification would also better facilitate the integration of the Quad Cortex with hybrid rigs, opening up a huge range of possible applications.
