First of all, I wish you all a happy Easter. I’m new to the forum and have been racking my brain for days over a specific control/setup with the QC.
I’d like to use a hybrid setup with the QC and my Soldano Astro 20 amplifier, ideally with both pre- and post-effects. The cab would only be for my personal monitoring on stage. For front of house, I’d like to send a stereo signal with cab simulation from the QC. For this, I want to use the XLR out from the Soldano as the sound source. I tested it with the typical 4-cable method and compared the cab against the XLR out through the QC. It sounds much more authentic coming from the XLR out. Maybe there’s still some contribution from the power amp in there.
I had it wired up in the classic 4CM way, plus the amp’s XLR out going into Input 2 on the QC. Getting the pre-effects working is easy, but unfortunately I can’t seem to integrate the effects loop for the post-effects.
Do you have any idea what the best way to achieve this would be?
