Previous Kemper user. Recently sold mine though!! It would be great to see more sophistication from delays and verbs (Archetype Plini was a wonderful step in that direction). There’s a lot of great things happening already, but it requires stacking lots of delays and verbs together. When they’re so CPU intense, it’s difficult to get deep sounds because I can only layer so many, but I can’t switch presets… because I have to live in one preset to prevent dropouts… and then I run out of scenes…. So we see where I’m going here. If they can be packaged a little lighter in the DSP side for the folks running two amps in the bottom grid and four pedal captures in the top grid, that would be huge.
Also, really love the matchless models, but their breakup doesn’t always resemble what I experience in the real world. They sit a little weird. It would be nice to see them get a refresh in the next year.
Those edge of breakup sounds are very challenging to reproduce unfortunately. I am getting much better results than I was a year ago! It has come such a long way! But I would love to see it refined even more!
