# Quad cortex no internet while connected to computer

My quad cortex is connected to my computer, which is connected to the internet, but whenever i try to download the newest update, it says “Your quad cortex isn’t connected to the internet”. Does anyone know a fix? Thanks!

The Firmware update process is only possible when your Quad Cortex is connected to the Internet via Wifi.

Using an USB cable and ‘sharing’ the computer internet connection is only for backup / downloading & uploding preset and captures…
