John, just saw this. I’m sure diffraction circuit explained it. He’s a very smart guy. Don’t forget to watch videos about it. It does help. Studio rats about 2 yrs ago when he bought his own showed how to do things. He’s a session guy. Not the recent one about 2 yrs ago. There’s others I can’t think of now. Good luck. It becomes easier the more you do it.

Again, using scenes at least for me and some others are not hearing a gap. Stop using presets. I’m starting to think you never read the manual on your cell phone the instructions are right there. If you choose not to use them at this point that’s your choice. You refuse to take advice.

Thanks for all the advice, but I use scenes, I just bought, for example, Steve Vai presets, and they are separate for each song. And the same with Joe Satriani presets. By the way, I decided to leave the quad coretx and see what happens. I think somewhere in 2030 in firmware 5 they will finally make a normal pitch block. And in 2035 they may finally add support for the Petrucci archetype. Well, by 2040 in firmware 7 there may be the Misha Mansur archetype. By 2045-2050 I predict that there will still be preset switching without pauses.

And during all these years, I will (if my health permits) be happily using my QC while you will complain elsewhere

Heck, even the 20+ year old modeler I started out with on this here modeler journey would possibly satisfy me, had I nothing else? Just so happens I scratched my humble means together to (second hand) get a hold on this particular music creating thingy, the best sounding on the planet for these two ears.

Far from a wiz doing this, still learning. It’s a matter of spirit. In case I can’t dial in the right sounds with the QC that’s on my own level of skill − and talent. Not a reversed/mirrored blame/self-blame game here, simply a fact. Other’s do it every hour every day somewhere, then so can we/I.

Have fun :hugs:

The problem is that everything sounds better with fractal. No, I’m going back to fractal. Goodbye!

Urgh:broken_heart:oomph ya’ got me, can I even go on living anymore by this overwhelming belittling truth?

No, really, as long as you find what’s best for you, goodbye and good luck forward.

Again,

Let’s all move on.

I‘m planning to join a Fractal forum and complain that it does not run Archetype Plini and has no captures and is therefore totally unusable. And then announce 10 times to move to QC but always continue complaining, no matter what other users try to suggest to help me.

Or maybe my time is too precious for this. Guess I’ll just stay here then

:exploding_head:WTF!!!:red_question_mark: the Fractal doesn’t have the Plini:red_question_mark::red_question_mark::red_question_mark:

Not moving on yet:

:sweat_smile:Yeah can imagine that?; the cool cousins over at Fractal’s forum having to let slide all the complainers there threatening to switch to QC, because they don’t compute that the error sits right there in between the unit and the gamer chair head rest.:brain::roll_eyes:

No, to really p:skull_and_crossbones:ss off the b:skull_and_crossbones:tt sore over at our friends there, one should threaten switching to the L6 mini bean:beans:, just because it’s way superior.:innocent: You know, because QC is an all too realistic alternative option that anyone just remotely cool can understand and appreciate by Now.

:vampire:t2:“Come… Come! We have QC Plini X, you feel drowsy. Counting backwards from three, for your inner eye you can only see before you QC Plini X… 3… 2…1 QC Plini-ini-ini, X-x-x… “

“Must… obey… QC… Pl… Plini X”:mouse_trap:

OK, I got my QC mini today.
Electricity consumption below.

QC mini(2026): 12V 0.7A 8.3W
QC(2025): 12V 1.2A 14.4W

Both run by CorOS4.0.1 in the same preset (stable condition)

Think it was to reference you positively, as you were right:+1:t3:

Interesting number you got for the QC, lower than what I’ve experienced. My current draw testing maxed out at 1.4A for actual usage with CPU-heavy presets, full screen brightness, and full volume. However, the boot up sequence used 1.76A. Both Cioks and Voodoo Lab support their pedalboard power solutions for the QC with 2.0A configurations, and their published guidance states that the QC uses 1.8A so I believe my measurements are accurate. I used a multimeter tapped into the actual power cord.
