# Preset button that only sends midi?

Right now I use a disaster area utility pedal to send the HOLD command to my big sky, to hold reverb tails in a drone-y way. Is it possible to set a preset button on the QC to ONLY send a midi command and NOT change the current signal path?

You should be able to use the ‘Preset MIDI Out Settings’ (in settings) to do just that but you would need to be in Scene mode otherwise any time you select a knob, it will move you to that preset.
