# No sound when playing (standalone plugin)

I have just gotten a scarlett solo and the gojira trial and I am trying to use it however no audio is being played back playinhg. Its like I am unplugged. I can see the instrument is being picked up by the solo as I can see the rings lighting up but nothing is being detected in NeuralDSP. (I am using a Macbook Pro). I have seen this asked before in the support section but no answers to the threads.

There are multiple variables to consider, I don’t use the Solo but many do so I will leave it open in hopes someone with Solo experience will provide input. Otherwise, feel free to email [support@neuraldsp.com](mailto:support@neuraldsp.com) about this, sorry you’re having this issue. They will get you sorted quickly.
