I’d like to suggest a small improvement that could make the Factory Captures much easier to explore and use.
When Neural DSP creates a set of captures of an amplifier, it would be extremely helpful to also provide a simple list or table showing the settings used for each capture — amp controls, input used, pedals in the signal chain, and their settings.
Right now, if I want to understand the differences between the captures, I have to open them one by one and manually check the information. With a table, I could immediately see something like: Capture 1 = these settings, Capture 2 = these settings, Capture 3 = these settings, and so on.
I’m actually creating this list manually for a set of Factory Captures right now, and it is very time-consuming. For the Neural DSP team, however, recording this information while creating the captures would probably require very little additional work, since the settings are already known at that point.
For those who are interested, I’ve included below/attached the list of settings used for the captures of the 1958 Fender Deluxe amplifier.
Publishing this kind of information together with each Factory Capture set would save users around the world a lot of time and would also make it much easier to understand, compare, and choose the right capture without opening every single one individually.
I think this would be a simple addition with a lot of value for Quad Cortex users.
