Hello!

Hey everyone!

I’m a touring musician seriously considering switching from Kemper to the Quad Cortex, but I have a major concern.

From what I’ve read in older posts, it seems that MIDI messages assigned to a scene only get sent when the scene is engaged via the physical footswitch. However, I can understand that if the scene is selected via external MIDI from a DAW, the associated MIDI messages aren’t transmitted.

This is a potential dealbreaker for me because all my scene changes will be automated via Ableton, and I need the Quad Cortex to send MIDI to switch presets on my Eventide Pitchfactor on scene changes.

Can any current owners confirm if this has been addressed in a firmware update? I’d really appreciate any insights!

Thanks in advance! 😊
