# Looper on QC mini question

Page 2 of the looper block , 3 of 4 options are greyed out ?: midi clock start, pre-roll + rec length. The mute/unmute toggles ok. Page 1 is all working.

Question: is this normal ? Is there a setting or cabling set up that makes these page 2 options become active ?

I am in the process of connecting a Boss DR-770 drum machine. The above behaviour is WITHOUT the DR-770 connected. I am following ‘Aaron Short Music’ excellent QC looper YouTube video ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ximyMT8Opc&t=939s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ximyMT8Opc&t=939s)).
