I am a bass player and use stereo effects in the upper register. My rig is QC –> Crown 500w Stereo Power Amp –> two Acme cabinets. I’d like a compact rig for proper bass-only gigs and as a backup. For that, I’d like to find a mono 500w power amp with line level input. Any recommendations?
The Seymour Duncan 700 is not FRFR – it is voiced like a Fender Bassman. The Acme cabs are outstanding in my opinion. Developed for bass 30 years ago and essentially FRFR. Highly recommended.
