How to save I/O settings for individual presets?

I have searched and tried but can not figure out how to save the I/O settings for each individual preset. Its mostly to set the output for a specific output (ex. 3 and 4, xlr etc). Any help would be appreciated!!!

Press on the output (right side) of the row you want to manage. From there you can choose the output you want.

After choosing an output, you can long-press on the output to control it individually–set gain, solo, mute. These controls are within the preset you’re working in and not global.

Thanks , Il try that. I was working with the global I/O and trying to set each preset with it’s output (3/4) . Some presets want/need louder than others.

Yeah, makes sense. The global I/O won’t save in that way, even though that would be super helpful! Best to adjust it all within the preset.

It would be good to leave your global output settings at 0 dB while adjusting your presets individually. Keep an eye on the output gain meter (included in the long-press menu for outputs) in each preset.

Thats what i was trying to do. So you cant? :frowning:

Im not near my unit at moment but I’ll try it. When I pressed the output on the R side ( ex selected 3/4) I did not see an option to control the volume. Seemed like it was only under the “global” option. And apologies if I am hacking the vocabu;ary

Use a gain block at the end of that lane to control the volume to that output. Global I/O isn’t meant to save different for each preset. You can use the meters of the Global I/O for a reference of where to set the gain block. Super easy way to configure different output levels for each preset and lane

What do you use for an output block that does not change the sound? Apologies and I appreciete the help!

If you LONG-Press the Output block it opens its menu, where you have a volume control. You can even assign this to Scenes. This is where most people adjust the overall level of the preset to balance/match other presets (or Scenes)

There’s no need to add another gain block to the grid if you use this volume inside the Output block

Hey guys. Thank you!!! I

Finally got home and could try it. Yes , I was able to save the overall out out at the end of the final row in each in scene. This is what I needed. I still need to leave other shit but I have 2 good “sounds” that this enabled me to actually use this for a gig. Thank you so much.

Now I need to capture some

Of my amps or buy them lol

Thanks again really appreciate the support. You guys made my week and I’m going to try it tomorrow for the rehearsal and gig.

Thanks!!
