# How to change preset author?

After testing some community presets, I decided to make my own. But I didn’t use the “create function”. I just delete all blocks from one preset. Then I made all my other hundred presets based on it.
I just see that the author of all my presets are still the old author.
How can I change them?
Is keeping the “author protection” bullshit still the case? (having to copy all blocks manually is just annoying, not a protection)

Short answer, you can’t which prevents someone from changing ownership from the original author. You would need to create a preset from scratch. Using Cortex Control, the process is extremely easy etc. Note, this will also prevent you from sharing publicly.
