Freeze Block Malfunctioning

Describe your issue:
Whenever I use the freeze block or the freeze function in Vintage Reverb it fails to hold indefinitely. It just slowly fades out.

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Create second path with bypass able gain block and freeze block in front and assign to footswitch, then activate freeze.

I expected this to happen:
When I unbypass the lane and freeze the signal it should hold as long as it’s engaged

I have tried the following things:

  • I have tried remaking preset
  • I have tried moving the block elsewhere
  • I have tried lightening the dsp load
  • I have tried deleting the block on preset and adding it back.

If I were to guess…

I’d say you probably use a momentary switch to engage the effect, and have a long release time settings.

Momentary switch, will hold the note for as long as your foot is on the switch. And ‘release’ controls how long it takes to fade out after you take your foot off the switch.

Still just a guess, unless you really do have some kind of bug :wink:
