Forum format

I wish this forum was as user friendly as the one Fractal uses. This one seems unorganized and confusing. Maybe the monitors and go see the Fractal forum and get some ideas on how to make this one useful. Thanks

Maybe a proper forum format like every single other one on the interwebs??

I like the Neural forum format. Fractal uses a legacy format that nobody uses anymore.

I guess more dedicated off-topic areas, preset exchange spaces (QC, NC etc.), music sharing spaces could be added.

But in theory those topics could be made in the existing spaces we have without mod involvement anyway; as @DiffractionCircuit mentioned the fractal forum isn’t radically different to what we have.

Guess if dedicated areas were made as mentioned it’d probably look a bit more like the discord server. Kind of viewed this by Neural as a more feature, bug, and help specific community than the more varied discord - but that is just my opinion :sign_of_the_horns:

Want to talk about unorganized and confusing, try the Discord server. I only have the patience to keep up with the qc-discussion chat thread there and there are always 3-4 different conversations happening simultaneously. But that’s just how Discord is.

I honesty feel like the Fractal forum is about as confusing as their UI (which is insanely convoluted and confusing). I would be fine with critique to Neural’s forum, but there has to be a better suggestion. The Neural forum design is pretty common nowadays, and way less confusing than all the other forums like the gear page, fractal, etc. The suggestion you have for the organization already exists anyways…
