# Difference between "My Captures" and "Downloads?" (Never made any of my own captures)

Title says it all. I’ve only ever downloaded captures; never even used the capture functionality, but I have downloads randomly split between the “My Captures” and “Downloads” folders… why is that?

“Downloads” is a holding area. Captures you mark on the Cloud are held there for you to audition them. Then you either delete or save them; if you save them they then move to the the “My Captures” folder for permanent storage
