Looking for ideas because i feel like i may just be missing something, I’m running in stomp mode, and I am able to basically set up the delay and trigger it momentary. However, the issue I’m having is the doesn’t stop Oscillating until i return the feedback to 0%. at the moment I am able to accomplish this using an expression pedal and using that to reset it. But any ideas on how i could accomplish this? is it possible to tie the value of the feedback knob to 0 when its low and 100% while the button is pressed?

There is currently not a way to set block parameters (such as delay feedback) to a _momentary_ footswitch function, whether in Stomp mode or Scene mode. Highly requested feature.

You could run hybrid mode and have the delay parameters adjust between two scenes. Otherwise like the previous post, there isn’t a way to go between settings on the pedal. Only way would be a scene adjustment

Maybe you could accomplish this using an external switch via one of the expression pedal inputs? I’m thinking like the toe switch of a mission pedal??? I’m away from my QC right now otherwise I’d give it a shot

I’ve done this in the past with a momentary foot switch connected too an expression pedal input.

This is the only way currently

Taking a stab at this…within the delay settings, is the “Trails” box unchecked?

you assigned the XP to the parameter or the bypass?

</div>

I think bypass and feedback.

You can have it so that the ‘off’ setting doesn’t put feedback all the way to zero, so it will almost fade out if you leave trails on.

</div>

If you want trails on, you’ll need to assign feedback to the footswitch as well, at least to bring it down below infinite repeats.

If you don’t do that, I also think it’ll still have the audio from last time you pressed it when you use it the next time (while using that preset).

well, I give up. I can’t figure out how to assign an XP switch as momentary for a parameter. Or anything, really.

Ahh sorry, it needs to be an actual momentary switch. I don’t think there’s a way to make a normal switch momentary.

I’m using a TRS-connected Ampero momentary switch as XP2 but find no way to assign it to a parameter, only bypass.

_Are we talking about the same thing, maybe I’m confused? Are you using the Midi Jumper Hack maybe?_

I don’t think there’s a way to assign any footswitch (onboard, midi, or XP) to the feedback (or any) parameter. Unless I’m misinterpreting, you’re indicating that it _can_ be done?

</div>

So you literally just pretend its a normal expression pedal and assign it as if you were using an actual XP. No midi or anything fancy involved at all.

Then because it’s a switch it just goes from fully open to fully closed (or the opposite) with no ramp up in between.

I don’t have my QC here right now, but it definitely worked in the past. I’m sure you can still assign any parameter to an expression pedal too?

</div>

weird. I tried it like you described, but the momentary switch on XP2 only goes from 0-50% and ramps up to it. I can’t get it to 100% where it’ll oscillate.
Maybe my switch isn’t compatible, although it’s definitely doing _something_, just not what I want.

Do you recall what model footswitch you used?
Thanks for your info

There are some ramp settings in the xp section. It all moved with the last update tho.

Will try and look tonight/tomorrow if I can.

Footswitch was one I built myself. Literally a switch in a box with a jack on it. No fancy stuff.

I appreciate that. No hurry…
Just trying to wrap my head around this. Tired of the footswitch on my ME XP, would like to incorporate momentary with a different switch if possible, thru the XP2. Hard finding a single momentary switch that’s TRS so far

</div>

I don’t think the momentary switch needs to be TRS. Usually they’re TRS when they have two switches on them. I’ve used single TS foot switches with the Helix expression input and they’re worked fine. Especially with this use of the momentary switch you might be fine with it being TS (hence why you can’t find any that are TRS)

I just figured it needed to be for the QC’s XP jack. Haven’t tried a TS in it with anything else

</div>

Could be worth trying, unless someone else says it wouldn’t work from experience. But I’m pretty sure a single momentary footswitch doesn’t actually need to be TRS because of how it actually functions.

Saturnworks is a good option for footswitches like this. I don’t even know if they offer it with a TRS cable (most likely because it isn’t necesarry)

Yea mine wasn’t TRS. Just TS.
